1. What are the minimum computer system requirements for viewing Digital Editions?

To ensure the best viewing experience of the Digital Editions we recommend the following minimum computer and software specifications. These specifications are the base standard for most computers today

A. Windows and Macintosh:

Windows XP or above

MAC 10.4 OS or above

Memory (RAM) 1GB or above (recommended)

1024 x 768 monitor resolution with 16-bit video card

B. MINIMUM BROWSER VERSION FOR DIGITAL EDITIONS:

1) Internet Explorer 6.0 and above, or

2) Mozilla 5.0 and above, or

3) Safari 2.0

C. FLASH PLAYER:

Windows: Flash Player 9.0.32 or above required

Macintosh: Flash Player 9.0 or above required

1) Check your version of Flash:

2) Install Flash Player 9:

After installing these upgrades, reboot and try again, and don’t forget to ‘click’ on the BLUE ActiveX install box if prompted.

2. why doesn't the brochure open and i get a message: pop-up blocked?

What are Pop-ups?

When you click the ‘Online’ button a pop-up Window opens displaying the Digital Edition.

A pop-up is a web browser window that appears on top of the website you're viewing.

If your pop-up blocker settings are ‘High’ the Digital Edition might not open and you will see the following message (or similar) at the top of the window:

If you get this message:

Click the message and allow:

Hold down Ctrl/Alt and click the ‘Online’ button to override the blocker.
Change your pop-up blocker setting to medium, or change the exceptions
